  • Colorado finishes result in two medals, and one U.S. World Team appointment at Junior Olympics!

    Colorado fencers attended the U.S. Junior Olympics this weekend competing with some of the countries top fencers in the nation.

    Competition was tough, and although Colorado didn't walk away with a significant numbers of medals, there were some highlights.

  • Colorado Cup & Youth Cup Points Standings Posted

    The Colorado Cup and Colorado Youth Cup standings have been posted.

    Due to some limitations of the AskFred points system we are unable to track points using AskFred this year. We will be working with the AskFred staff to help rectify this for next season, but in the meantime have developed an interim solution.

  • Congratulations to the Colorado Division Junior Olympic Qualifiers!

    Congratulations to all of those competitors that participated in this years JO Qualifier event! We had 37 individuals qualify in 12 different events. These 37 join the 9 individuals that were already qualified through other qualification paths. This puts over 40 competitors representing the Colorado division at this year's Junior Olympics!

  • Junior Olympic Qualifiers - Close of Registration Times Posted

    There has been a number of inquiries regarding the close of registration times for the events at JO Qualifiers. Let me first apologize for the delay. Due to some personal health issues I wasn't able to get this done in as timely a manner as I had hoped.

    After two very committed years as the Executive Committee president, and a short tenure this year as the reporting secretary, Al Axford has decided that it is time to step down from the Executive Committee.

  • YOUTH Friday Night Fight

    On 07 October, the Fencing Academy of Denver will host the first of a series of Friday Night Fights specifically devoted to Youth fencers. This event will feature Y10 and Y12 Men's and Women's Sabre and Epee.

    These tournaments are not USFA formatted and will be open to innovation. All Y10 and 12 fencers are encouraged to join the fun.

  • Youth Cup Registration Extended!

    Due to a last minute change in venue, registration for the Youth Cup has been extended. Now you still have time to sign up without late fees! Hurry, registration now closes on September 20th. Go to http://www.coloradofencing.net/calendar

  • Colorado Youth Cup #1

    Due to an unavoidable change in venue, registration for the Youth Cup remained closed until 08 September. This tournament, which will now be hosted by South Denver Fencing Academy, is now posted and open for registration. See http://www.coloradofencing.net/calendar

  • 2011 Annual Meeting Agenda

    The agenda for this year's annual meeting is now posted on the Colorado Division website. You can access it by going to www.coloradofencing.net, and looking for the posting titled "2011 Annual Meeting Agenda".

  • Voting and becoming a Division Officer

    The Annual Meeting of the Colorado Division is this Sunday. This is your opportunity to have an impact on the direction of the Division. There are currently five positions of the Executive Committee up for election, and any member in good standing is eligible.
