Wendy Amann - Chair

Hi, my name is Wendy and my son is Spencer. Spencer has been fencing for about nine years now and I never get tired of watching him. My husband, Keith, now fences as well and although I don't get to watch him as often, it is still quite fun and interesting. Although I can't say I know all of the rules inside and out, I have had the opportunity to observe many tournaments and situations and feel I have a good understanding of this sport and its challenges. I have been involved in the Executive Committee for about three years now and this year, my fourth, will be my opportunity to be the Chairman. I am looking forward to working with our current committee to continue the great work that has been done in the past few years.

Keith Amann - Corresponding Secretary

Keith first became involved in fencing in 2002 when he and his wife brought their oldest son to Northern Colorado Fencers for a lesson. Keith spent several years watching from the sidelines before he finally started taking lessons and competing himself. Keith earned his 'D' rating in Epee in 2010, and is an active participant in the Veteran circuit.

Keith is the latest in a long line of Webmasters for the NCF website, and is the current maintainer of the Colorado Division Website.

Karen Boudreau - Treasurer

This is my second year as treasurer for the Colorado Division. I became involved with Colorado fencing in 2006 when my son Ryan took his first fencing class with South Denver Fencing Academy (SDFA). Although my experience with fencing is limited to Ryan’s involvement and a college class too many years ago to count, I have learned a great deal from the many veteran fencers, club owners and officials who go out of their way to welcome new fencers and their parents into the Colorado fencing community. I appreciate the opportunity to help out the fencing community anywhere I can.

Gregg Bramblett - Vice-Chair

I began my fencing career in 1979 as an inaugural member of the University of Nebraska – Omaha Fencing Team. I was also a member of the Omaha Fencing Club, with my primary focus on foil at that time. After relocating to Colorado in 1981, I joined the Mile High Fencing Club, fencing both foil and epée. In 2009 I joined the newly established Fencing Academy of Denver where I began fencing sabre. In addition to competing in sabre, I’m also a full-time sabre coach at FAD and the clubs ad-hoc armorer. It is my privilege to serve the Colorado fencing community as Vice-Chairman on the Executive Committee of the Colorado Division – USFA.
